salon history

Founded over 20 years ago by the internationally recognised hairstylist and American Crew educator Mr Gary McKenzie, the salon grew from a small ‘hole in the wall’ shop for South Yarra’s elite, to an opulent space designed by the talented Christopher Connell Designs. In 2004 the other half of the Dunkley McKenzie team – Mr Christopher Dunkley joined the team. It was his bold vision to expand and grow the brand into the true customer driven experience that it is today.
